About Emma

• Having qualified with a PGCE from Oxford Brookes University in 2001, I have over 20 years of teaching experience.

• I have been running 11+ courses in a classroom at my home since 2011, alongside my role as a part-time primary school teacher.

• As I also work in school, I have up-to-date DBS checks and safeguarding training. This also enables me to keep informed about what and how pupils are currently learning in schools.

• Organised and enthusiastic tutor with a positive and cheerful attitude to teaching and learning.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills; I always establish good professional relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

• I aim to provide a caring and supportive environment for pupils to learn confidently.

• Friendly, fun and supportive tuition groups (of up to 6 pupils).

• Key techniques and strategies taught to cover all 11+ test questions.
